Overmolding

Overmolding is an injection molding process that creates a new item by injecting multiple doses of thermoplastic one after the other. A thermoplastic injection into a tool or cavity produces a substrate prior to the injection of an Overmolding material into a machine. The thermoplastic layers combine as they cool to form a solid and extraordinarily durable final product. The binding between substrates will differ depending on the properties of the suitable Overmolding material.


Overmolding has considerably enhanced the performance of several goods for today's market.
