First of all, we need to understand the importance of barrel temperature. The temperature of the barrel in injection molding directly affects the fluidity and curing speed of the plastic melt. If the temperature of the barrel is too low, the viscosity of the plastic melt is large and the fluidity is poor, which may lead to insufficient filling of the product and affect the quality of the product. On the contrary, if the barrel temperature is too high, the viscosity of the plastic melt is small, and the fluidity is too strong, which may lead to overflow or product deformation during injection molding. So, how to reasonably adjust the temperature of the barrel for injection molding?

1. Understand the nature of raw materials: Different plastics have different melting points and thermal stability, therefore, we need to set the barrel temperature according to the nature of raw materials.

2. Control heating time and cooling time: In the injection molding process, we need to precisely control the heating time and cooling time to ensure that the plastic melt reaches the appropriate temperature before entering the mold. If the heating time is too short, the plastic melt may not be fully melted; If the heating time is too long, which may cause the plastic to decompose due to excessive heat. If the cooling time is too short, which may lead to incomplete curing of the product; If the cooling time is too long, which may affect the production efficiency.

3. Use temperature control equipment: There are many precision temperature control equipment on the market now, which can help us accurately control the temperature of the barrel. We can choose the right temperature control equipment according to the needs to improve the accuracy and efficiency of temperature control.

 

4. Regular inspection and maintenance: In the process of injection molding, we need to regularly check the temperature distribution of the barrel and the working state of the heating element to discover and solve the problem in time. In addition, we also need to pay attention to cleaning the barrel to prevent impurities and dirt from affecting the uniformity of temperature.
